For a few months, we have been testing and running a new backup system. This new system is so strong and really state of the art. It allows great flexibiliy with respect to backups, since you can specify how often you want the backups to run. For example, with CPanel's built in system, it backs up 1 time per day. With this new system, we can backup every hour if we wanted to, which is such an asset to all of you. In the past, if a total system failure were to happen, our backups would be a day old, and if it had happened these had not run, we would have to use a weekly backup.

Since May, the system has been installed and operating on a weekly remote routine, where we backup our shared servers to our remote disaster recovery site. This means we can have backups locally every 2 hours, which is our intent. So the data will be backed up incrementally (only the data that has changed) every 2 hours, thus ensuring a solid data protection plan.
