You'll use two logins with Cid Hosting. Here's what each one is for.
| Client area | cPanel | |
|---|---|---|
| Where | https://clients.cidhosting.net | https://yourdomain.com/cpanel |
| What it's for | Invoices, renewals, domains, support tickets, account details | Your website files, email accounts, databases, backups |
| Login | The email address and password you used when ordering | The cPanel username and password from your welcome email |
Client area
- Go to https://clients.cidhosting.net and click Login.
- Enter your email address and password.
- Forgot it? Click Forgot Password? and we'll email a reset link.
cPanel — the easy way (from the client area)
- Log in to the client area.
- Go to Services > My Services and click your hosting plan.
- Click Log in to cPanel, or use one of the Quick Shortcuts (Email Accounts, File Manager, Backup and so on).
This logs you in without needing your cPanel password.
cPanel — directly
- Go to
https://yourdomain.com/cpanel(orhttps://yourdomain.com:2083). - Enter your cPanel username and password from the welcome email.
If your domain isn't pointing to us yet (for example, during a move), log in through the client area instead.
Keep your logins safe
- Use a different, strong password for the client area, cPanel and each mailbox.
- Don't share your cPanel login with a web designer — create an FTP account for them with access only to the folder they need.
- We'll never ask for your password. If you get an email asking you to "verify" your login, see How to Spot and Handle Phishing Emails.
