Steps to follow how to set up IMAP email on android:
1. Open your device’s email application (Settings > Account > Add account > Email).
2. In Set up Email select Other.
3. Enter your Email Address and Password then click Manual setup.
4. Choose IMAP (syncs better), unless you prefer the traditional POP3 type.
5. Configure the Incoming Mail Settings.
- Username: Enter your full email address
- IMAP Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Security Type: SSL (might be displayed as SSL/TLS)
- Port: 993 (If you chose POP3, make the port 995)
- IMAP Path Prefix: (leave go)
6. Fill in the required Outgoing Mail Settings as given below:
- SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Security Type: SSL (Accept all certificates)
- Port: 465
- Require Sign-In: Yes
- Username: Enter your full email address
- Password: enter your email password
7. Click Sign-in to complete the setup.
