How to Delete an Email Account in cPanel

Delete a mailbox in cPanel when it is no longer needed. This removes the address and the mail stored in it.

Before you delete

  • Download anything you need (webmail, IMAP client, or email backup).
  • Update any forwarders, filters, or websites that send as that address.

Delete

  1. Log in to cPanel from clients.cidhosting.net.
  2. Email → Email Accounts.
  3. Click Delete / Manage → Delete for that address and confirm.

Tip: Deletion is permanent for the mailbox contents on the server. Prefer changing the password if you only need to cut off access temporarily.
