How to Enable Spam Filters in cPanel

Reduce junk mail with SpamAssassin / spam filters in cPanel. Thresholds and labels vary by theme — use the Spam Filters or SpamAssassin icon under Email.

Enable spam filtering

  1. Log in to cPanel from clients.cidhosting.net.
  2. Email → Spam Filters (or SpamAssassin).
  3. Enable spam filtering / process new emails and score spam.
  4. Optionally enable auto-delete for high scores — start cautiously so real mail is not dropped.

Tip: Also see How to Spot and Handle Phishing Emails — filters help, but caution with unexpected links still matters.
