Webmail lets you read and send mail from a browser — no app install. On Cid Hosting shared and reseller plans, webmail uses Roundcube.
Open webmail
- In your browser, go to one of these (use your domain):
https://yourdomain.com/webmailhttps://webmail.yourdomain.comhttps://yourdomain.com:2096
- Sign in with your full email address and mailbox password.
- If you see a choice of webmail apps, pick Roundcube. You can set it as the default so it opens next time.
You should land in your inbox.
Change your mailbox password
- In webmail, click your email address (usually top right).
- Open Password & Security (wording may vary slightly).
- Set a new password and save.
Account owners can also reset any mailbox in cPanel → Email Accounts → Manage.
After a password change, update Outlook, Apple Mail, phones and any device that still uses the old password.
Common tasks in Roundcube
- Compose / reply / forward — use the toolbar above the message list.
- Delete — select messages and delete; empty Trash periodically if you want the space back.
- Search — use the search box at the top of the mailbox.
Forwarders, filters and autoresponders for the whole domain are easiest in cPanel (Email section). Webmail is ideal for day-to-day reading and sending.
If webmail will not open
- Try another browser or a private window.
- Confirm you are using the mailbox password, not the cPanel password (unless they happen to match).
- If the domain is new or DNS just changed, wait for DNS to settle, then try again.
