POP3 downloads mail to one Android device. We recommend IMAP instead so mail stays in sync — see How to Set Up Your Email on Android. Use POP only if you have a specific reason.
POP3 settings
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Account type | POP3 |
| Incoming server | mail.yourdomain.com — port 995, SSL/TLS |
| Outgoing server | mail.yourdomain.com — port 465, SSL/TLS |
| Username | Full email address |
| Password | Email password |
In the Gmail / Samsung Email app
- Add account → Other → choose POP3 when offered.
- Enter the settings above. Do not choose “accept all certificates.”
- If “leave messages on server” is available, set a delete-after period carefully.
Still stuck? Prefer IMAP, or open a ticket at clients.cidhosting.net/submitticket.php.
